Heart Screening Day at Knutsford Academy

Knutsford Academy hosted its annual heart screening day on Tuesday 30th November. The day is very kindly donated by Knutsford Community First Responders which ensured 90 students received a free heart screen. The day is delivered by a team from Cardiac Risk in the Young who carry out the screen to identify if there are any heart problems that could lead to heart disease or a heart attack. This was the fourth time the screening has taken place at the Academy, with the screening on this occasion delayed from April 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
